Nepal has made a policy to spend at least 80 percent of available climate finance in a bid to support local climate works.
Under its national adaption plan, Nepal has launched short term (2025), mid-term (2030) and long term (2050) programmes.
It includes the total 64 adaptation programmes under eight thematic areas and four inter-sectoral areas identified by the National Climate Change Policy, 2019.
